Started with a passion, Doves Farm founders Clare and Michael Marriage had a fascination for whole grains and organic farming. With the simple idea of making great quality flour from their own grains, they sowed their first seeds in 1977, and the rest is history.
They were amongst the first to take up organic farming in the UK, and they now work with a network of organic farmers across the UK and beyond. As ancient grain pioneers, they were also the first to reintroduce some of the UK’s lost ancient grains back to our soils including Rye, Spelt, Einkorn and Emmer.
Clare and Michael have a huge love for baking, so alongside being experts in choosing the right grain for the job, they have created over 300 tried and tested recipes which are available on their website. From bread to pancakes, and cakes to biscuits be inspired with delicious and exciting recipes using their award-winning flours.
